St John’s and Winton day 2

Today our children were moved into two groups which meant the children from both schools were mixed up. They have had a great day getting to know each other and bonding.

This evening we wrote poems and sentences to describe our day.

Aimee Cowan- The bike ride today was amazing. I loved going down the hills.

Lisa- I like the bike ride because I was really brave and went down a big steep hill.

Emma and Katie- It was a wet gloomy day and the rain came our way. We went orienteering in the mysterious forest, our wellies were mocket and drenched.

Leah and Shannon- Today was very fun whilst working with everyone.

Jamie-Leigh and Emilie- we did the cross country race that was our favourite. We thought we came in second but we never.

Meredith and Evie- we got to the water and what did we see, a hundred little ducks and swans staring at me!!

Lauren and Amber- rainy weather, riding bikes and spiky plants.

Lucy-Jo and Hailie- The Bavarian summer house was very pretty and the view of the water was calm and it was sparkling because of the sun.

Ellis and Bethany- went for a cycle, up hills down dales, water all around, just in front of me I came across a tree.

Sophie and Alex- today was great fun. We did orienteering with everyone.

Blake and Brody- With my friend getting wet, it was hard for the map to get set.

Bailey, Aimee M, Chloe- today we went on bikes and tomorrow we want to hike.

Sean and Adam- The outdoors is very fun. We did orienteering without the sun. Cycling was really good, it got us in a great mood. Working with St. John’s is really fun when we are working with everyone.

All the staff are very proud of Alex and Bailey who both learned how to ride a bike today and also to Sean and Adam who smashed the record for the quickest time round the orienteering course. Well done boys!
